Part Two: Emerging Identities

Growing up Vietnamese American also means understanding complex realities that include navigating hyphenated identities, inherited trauma, and the ongoing struggle for belonging. Through the voices of second-generation youth, we examine how cultural pride, discrimination, and generational healing shape our perspectives on life and our hopes for the next generation.

Part Three: Contributions in America

This part of the documentary celebrates the vibrant contributions of Vietnamese Americans across the nation. From elected officials and filmmakers to Little Saigon business owners and chefs popularizing Vietnamese cuisine, their influence is woven into the fabric of American life. We also spotlight mental health advocates, educators, and social workers who are breaking barriers and uplifting their communities.
