Howdy! My name is Sylvie Nguyen. I served as editor-in-chief of both The Oracle student newspaper and Helios arts, culture, and STEM magazine at Henry M. Gunn High School in Palo Alto, CA. Seeking opportunities outside of the classroom, I became the first youth writer for Best Version Media's town magazine and a broadcast reporter for Silicon Valley Innovation Channel, a television station covering AANHPI issues. Irrevocably drawn to race and equity beats, I focus my work on helping ethnic communities tell their stories with respect and reach.
