Seattle’s Majestic Bay thrives amid theatre closures

To publish a multimedia package on JCamp Live, I was selected for the Asian American Journalist Association's JCamp (5% acceptance rate). In a team of three, I conceptualized the story tip and led research on how Ballard's historic movie theatre outlasts gentrification, personalizes consumer accessibility, and resists the wave of shuttering cinema houses.

This is a tribute to a sports legend, who was my tennis coach. I pitched and wrote the article as a freelancer for my town's magazine, though it was my first time reporting on a death.
